Hand-Tied Hair Extensions (Weft)
The hand-tied method involves sewing a weft of extension hair onto a “track” of beaded natural hair. The installation process ensures the integrity of the hair and is highly customizable. Hand-tied hair extensions create a natural look and may be moved up to maintain length and style as natural hair grows.
- Installation time: 2 to 5 hours
- Wefts may be moved up 5-6 times
- Should be maintained every 6 weeks

i-Tip Hair Extensions (Micro Beads)
The i-tip extension method involves threading a strand of extension hair with a strand of the client’s hair through a small bead. The extension hair is held in place by clamping the bead; securing the extension to the natural hair. I-Tip hair extensions are ideal for those with thicker natural hair.
- Installation time: 2 to 5 hours
- I-Tips may be maintained up to 6-8 times
- Should be re-installed every 6-8 weeks

Keratin Bond Hair Extensions (Fusion)
Keratin bond hair extensions are installed using a heating element to attach the protein tip hair extension strand to the client’s natural hair. Keratin bond hair extensions have a very natural look and typically require less in-salon maintenance than other methods. They are also great for adding dimension or pops of color without coloring natural hair.
